Except that there's a world of difference between "tying them to the Palestineans", which can be said to be true, in some respect, of just about every non-Jewish country in that region, and tying them to Al-Qaeda.

Two completely different organizations, with completely different motivations and different goals.

Yes, and these are anti-isreal terrorists. Which begs the question: If Iraq is supporting anti-isreali terrorism, then why isn't Isreal putting some smack down? Why exactly do we give them all that money and all those weapons if not to defend themselves? Clearly Saddam was a threat to them. It remains an unsupported claim that he was any threat to the US.
