I think this is probably one of the best ideas I've ever heard of for catching law breakers...think about it, the stoners get high, get the munchies and then go to McDonald's for something to eat. The undercover cop can smell the odor of marijuana coming from inside the car and has it stopped! The sad part is that the stoners usually don't have enough sense to leave the weed at home...Hats off to the cops!

Well, then what's to stop the local neighborhood police from looking into your windows, peeking in to see what illegal contraband you might have.
"Hell, it was in plain sight...our dog got a positive hit while he was sniffing through your azaleas. It was enough to get a warrant!"
Living under a "well-intended police state" is still living in a "police state".
