Yup, and the 1080i display is absolutely incredible. I'm not that impressed at this point with S-Video (it line triples and reds are pixelated big-time) but it's been a definite improvement.
Now just trying to figure out how to get 720p to work properly.
Scary thing was that AVS forums DIDN'T have the answers, all it took was a quick call from Mitsubishi to find out the TV and any decoder will automatically change it to 1080i.
And the box put me back about $3k. After taxes and the extended warranty (hell yes I bought it, it also gives me a yearly cleaning/tune up on the box as well) it was closer to $3,600, but that was no interest/no payments until January 2005. I've been able to get the 1080i and 480i feeds from the local PBS station on my inside antenna pretty decently and have been able to pick up one Indy station (UPN) when the weather/time is right.
The big antenna gets installed on Wednesday, with that I should be able to get all the digital Fort Wayne stations (all three of them) and part of Indy as well. Next big purchase is the HD receiver for DirecTV but I'm having a hard time convincing myself that I need to do the upgrade, especially since that would mean I lose the Tivo in the living room. That might wait until the DirecTV HDTivo comes out in 1Q04.
Nope, HH Gregg. And they beat BB by about $400 (at least the one around here when I was price shopping).
Take the plunge, Fort Wayne is going to be 100% digital within six months (don't know about Lima or Toledo, they probably already are). And the new DirecTivo is coming out in 1Q04 which will record DirecTV AND OTA stuff as well!

Did you get that? I'm genuinely envious, if you did. Even when I do upgrade my 50" Mitsu, it won't be to something that nice.

You been reading hometheaterforums.com or avsforums.com? Ton of great information there. The manual helps, too. :)
How much did it set you back? And do you have any HDTV signals in the Heartland?

Got it at Best Buy, then? I was near one at lunch yesterday, and having read this in the AM, I had to stop in and look at the TVs. :)
I really want to get one, but I'm gonna be staring at my 4:3 screen for a bit longer. Maybe next year...
