Of course, were not for my desire to consume red meat, there would be little reason for such a large population of cows to exist. It's not unreasonable to presume niether its mother or it would have existed if not to be eaten. Instead of cursing me, the litle cow should be thanking me for establishing a context under which its life came to be.

Dammit, that cow should THANK me for being alive.
I've always wondered why it's OK for a lion in the Serengeti plain to eat a Zebra, but I can't have a cheeseburger. Someone explain that one to me!
