One of the worse called games
Is going on right now.
Illegal hit (essentially spearing) called on Todd McMillion when it was clear he hit with his shoulder.
Pass Interference waived off when the Vikings say the ball was tipped (when it clearly wasn't).
Offsides not called on the Vikings during the 2-point conversion.
I hate to bitch, but one bad call is expected. Two are just bad luck. Three involve several people in balck and white stripes not paying attention.

You said it, BW. What about the muffed pass interference call when the ref's mistakenly said the pass was tipped at the line? Stopped a drive when the Bears looked ready...
The McMillian hit looked legal to me, too, but he should know that they aren't going to let them tee off on defenseless receivers, especially against the Bears!
It's all about to be moot, with the Mighty Quinn taking the reigns...

Now that I've calmed down....
#1. The Pass Interference Call/PickUp was purely from the Minnesota sideline screeching. If the flag is thrown, you call the penalty unless another Ump saw something completely different. There is no way that anyone saw that ball tipped at the line.
#2. The offsides call was beyond a joke. If anything, that guy ran unabated to the QB and the play should have been blown dead.
#3. McMillen's hit is borderline when it's called, but in slow motion you see that he led with his pads. I don't see how the defender was in a "helpless" position since he was:
a) going for the ball
b) was standing upright
c) didn't have his arms up in the air exposing his ribs
If Mike Brown was out there, there would have never been a penalty. McMillen was on his second start and already had a rep as a hard hitter. Moss apparently was screeching how dirty of a player McMillen was three plays before because he told Randy "I'm not going for the ball, I'm going for you". That isn't dirty football, that's getting into your opponents head. How many times have we seen Moss get a case of alligator arms going across the middle since he knew Brown and Urlacher were out there? They weren't there on Sunday, but the rest of the team knew what to do.
You knew once Moss started complaining about that, the refs were watching McMillen for anything. I'm just waiting to see if the NFL fines him for that hit, which they shouldn't. It was a clean hit.
I don't hold much hope out for the Eagles game, hopefully the might Quinn can at least run a decent game.
