People Who Still Don't Get It

Last minute arguments: JoAnne Krieger lets her sign do the talking as she makes her political argument to fellow citizens in St. Paul, Minnesota.
No Mrs. Krieger, this should scare you.

Our future isn't dependent on the respect of rogue nations, it's dependent on our ability to fight terrorism and radical Islam.

The "respect of rouge nations"? I much prefer the eyeshadow ones myself.
Bush's entire re-election campaign centers on scaring the populace into voting for him. I'd rather live in a society that has terrorist attacks on a frequent basis -- BUT IS FREE -- than live in the jackbooted society King George II wants to mold.

Allrighty...spelling fixed so shaddup. ;-)
Let me get this straight. You would prefer to live with "frequent" terrorist attacks where your government isn't living up to its duty to defend the country from all threats?
Seriously, what is your interpretation of "jackbooted thugs" in this country?

Have you actually READ the PATRIOT act? seriously.

Actually, yes I have. I have it somewhere on my firewire drive as a pdf file. Honestly, I've seen worse laws get made and passed by the same legislative group. I don't know why you blame Bush solely on the PATRIOT act since it was passed by both sides of Congress pretty handily.
You know, since I posted that picture, I've been doing some thinking. I could have read her completely wrong and she could just be posting a plea for help from her emerging lesbian tendencies. ;-)
