The $1000 Bookend

Well, at least it is for now.

Work ships me a laptop since my machine is "not company owned" and we can't have something as dirty as a "non-company owned" machine on the local network (even though it is probably better secured than 95% of the machines on the network).

So the box arrives today (from HP....ugh) and I let it warm up to login in. Except this one doesn't have my login built into it. And there's no backdoor. And since I'm not in a company office, I can't get into it until I'm in a company office, sometime this next month.

So for the immediate future, it will gather dust as I keep plugging away on my evil personal machine.
