For those of you who don't watch Battlestar Galactica (the new series)...just enjoy this lovely picture.
OK, so they whacked Starbuck tonight. Not a surprise since:
a). Most of the reports said they were not killing her off.
b). BSG producers like to screw with peoples minds.
So they big question is what does she come back as next season.
a). A Cylon.
b). A Goddess.
c). Something weird like Gandalf the White.
d). Catch Katie Sackhoff on a very special edition of "Joey".
I vote for "d".

My personal guess is "c". Although it's worth pointing out that the same reports which said they were killing her off also said her name is coming off the credits starting next week, so she's really and truly relegated to "guest star" status effective immediately.
That, to me, rules out (a). And I don't think she's quite a deity, so that rules out (b). And their emphasis on her "destiny" (currently unfulfilled to the best of our knowledge) makes me think the character isn't quite done yet, ruling out (d).

I don't know, I sort of like the whole "main character checks out due to the fact she was a whack-job" and never returns. But yeah, she's way too damn popular to just toss her out.
