Re-Diagnosed

Tyler was re-diagnosed tonight. His new therapist (after reading his entire file and consulting with his previous therapists) have diagnosed him with Reactive Attachment Disorder. We have been reading up on this, and it fits Tyler perfectly.

Here's the rub, we have to parent him differently. Sometimes....it's going to get weird. So when DeAnn and I are working with Tyler, please don't tell us we're doing it wrong or question us afterwards... We know what we're doing and we have a VERY short time to fix this (i.e. before puberty when his brain rewires itself). This is our only chance....

A Note To A Neighborhood Idiot

To the kid who keeps throwing rocks and gernally terrorizing my kids at night when they are downstairs alone by peeking in windows and other such nonsense.

We know who you are.
We will catch you.
God help you if you pick a house with a pissed off parent who is also a firearm owner.

(Disclaimer: I do not own a firearm, but I have heard of at least one who does. And they are pissed....)

No It Was Not Our House

But the flames were pretty darn high. Scary thing, we drove past that house approximately 10 minutes before the explosion.

Poor Product Placement

Some people may think differently however....

Pumpkin Hunt winners named

Grand prize winners have been named in the Huntington Parks and Recreation Department's Great Pumpkin Hunt.

They are Phillip Davis in the 3 years and under group; Adam Covey in the 4 to 7 years group; and Tyler Wohlgemuth in the 8 and older group.

The winners were among a large group of children that descended on Hier's Park Oct. 25 to hunt for orange and black eggs hidden around the park. One egg in each age category contained a certificate for a grand prize of a bicycle.
